Arrived at Southend in 1966 via Biggin Hill after storage at Lossiemouth and Dunsfold. Part of the British Historic Aircraft Museum until it closed and sold at auction on 10th May 1983. Subsequently registered as G-SALY before being sold to the U.S. via Warbirds of Great Britain in 1990 and restored to fly as N15S in June 1991. Delivered to the USAF as 52-7133. To the Belgian Air Force in 1954. Withdrawn from use in 1972. To the Historic Aircraft Museum at Southend in 1973 then to Medway Royal Aviation Society, Rochester in 1980 for restoration and repainted in USAF Thunderbirds colours as 6771. To the RAF Museum, Cosford in 1990 then to the Bentwaters Cold War Museum in 2019.

Repainted and ready for application of Flying Doctor Service of Australia markings and fictitious registration "VH-FDT".

Recently moved to external display at the Historic Aircraft Museum at the time of the photo. When the museum closed and its contents were auctioned in May 1983 it sold for £26,000 to Paul Raymond for the still-born London War Museum. It was auctioned again in 1985 selling to Kermit Weeks' Flying Heritage Collection for £24,000. It was stored at North Weald for several years, then Norfolk, arriving at Duxford in 2014. Believed to have subsequently departed to the USA.

The fuselage of Bill Francis' Spitfire on loan to the HAM and recently arrived at the time of the photo. Bill purchased the aeroplane from Pinewood Studios in 1968 with a view to restoration. It was used for cockpit shots in "Reach for the Sky" and for spares at Henlow for "Battle of Britain". Bill moved it to the garden of his bungalow in Hampton Gardens, Southend, later loaning it to the HAM after partial restoration. It moved with Bill to Southam in 1977. In 1982 it was sold to Stephen Gray, becoming G-CDAN. Subsequently restored to flight as ZK-XVI, VH-XVI. Current in 2022 marked as TB863.

On external display at the Historic Aircraft Museum. Ex Danish AF 329 (previously 31-329) and RCAF FE905. Subsequently painted in USAF colours as "93584/LTA-584". When the museum closed and its contents were auctioned in May 1983 it sold for £6,000. Acquired by RAF Museum and displayed as FE905 at Hendon since 1994.

Painted in false 98 Sqdn colours to represent RAF Mitchell HD368. Auctioned for £6,200 when the museum closed in May 1983, displayed at Duxford then derelict at North Weald, dismantled and stored at Booker. Since July 2019 it has been stored at a private location in West Sussex.

G-APRJ on display at the Historic Aircraft Museum repainted from RF342 and wearing its old Class B test registration of G-29-1. When the museum closed and its contents were auctioned in May 1983 it sold for £8,500. The majority of the aeroplane ended up with the Australian National Aviation Museum while the nose (a Lancaster nose from the pilot's windscreen forward, ex-TW911) went to Flying Heritage, Seattle.

Subsequently stored in a derelict state at Hooton Park, Cheshire. Finally scrapped in 2012 with the front fuselage section being saved for restoration at Avro Heritage Museum in Manchester.

One of Tony Haig-Thomas's collection of airworthy de Havilland Moth types. Lodging with the HAM and recently arrived at the time of the photo. Later repainted in a black and gold colour scheme. Struck by Musketeer G-AYWS at Old Warden on 17th July 1982 and destroyed by fire. This prompted the closing of the cross-runway to visiting aircraft. The remains were subsequently recreated by Ben Cooper and the aircraft was resident in Germany in 2022.

Humber-Bleriot Monoplane Replica loaned to HAM by the Midland Aircraft Preservation Society. Recently arrived at the time of the photo. On display at the Midland Air Museum, Coventry in 2022.

On external display in the early days of the Historic Aircraft Museum. Sold in the Phillips Auction of the Historic Aircraft Museum contents on 10th May 1983 for £1000 and moved to West Germany in August of that year.

Built circa 1953. On loan with the museum and recently arrived at the time of the photo. Subsequently displayed at the Manchester Museum of Science and Industry and returned to the Aeroplane Collection at Hooton Park in November 2021.

Built by C.L. Story of Southend and registered in November 1935. It was displayed for many years at Story's Garage in East Street, Southend. Loaned by Mrs. Story to the Skyfame Museum from around September 1963. It was then loaned to the Historic Aircraft Museum (Southend) from its opening in May 1972. Present with the Real Aeroplane Company at Breighton in 2022.

Flew into Southend from Calais on 1st June 1972 and installed in the Historic Aircraft Museum. Reported at the time as built in Prague in 1943, ex-OE-ADR. Doubts at the time over its c/n, quoted as either "3812" or "110094" ex-Swedish AF Fv3812". Subsequently painted in Luftwaffe colours as "CB-VD". Sold for £24,000 at the Philip's auction on 10th May 1983 when the museum closed. Displayed at the Whitehall Theatre of War and then sold to Kermit Weeks for his Fantasy of Flight Museum.
