Taken on strength March 8, 1948, this North Star took part in the type's stand down ceremony at RCAF Station Trenton on December 8, 1965. Donated to the National Aeronautical Collection, the aircraft spent the next 40 years stored outside due to lack of space. Presently housed in the re-named Canadian Aviation and Space Museum's storage/restoration building opened in 2005, it has been undergoing restoration by volunteers on and off as time and space permit.

This Lanc was built by Victory Aircraft Ltd at Malton, ON and arrived in England during Jan. 1945 to serve with 428 Squadron. Post-war she returned to Canada and was used for a while as a Firebee drone mothership before being scrapped. At least the nose has survived and is on display beside an elevated walkway so visitors can see inside the cockpit, at the Canada Aviation & Space Museum.

This Komet was delivered to JG/400 in 1945 but captured intact at Husum and sent to the UK for testing. It was shipped to Montreal as a war prize in 1946 and subsequently placed into storage in a number of different locations. It underwent restoration by staff from the Canada Aviation & Space Museum during 2000-2001 and is now on display wearing JG/400 markings once again.

This Comet was built as a 1A and delivered to the RCAF during March 1953. This example was one of four frames that were upgraded to a 1XB standard (Sept. 57) with a reinforced fuselage structure and oval windows. During March 1964 she was wfu and subsequently broken up so that only the nose has survived at the Canada Aviation Museum.

This Hind was built in 1937 and was one of nineteen donated to the Royal Afghan Air Force in 1939 and after being wfu it was used as an instructional airframe into the 1950s. Fortunately the airframe was rescued from a Kabul junkyard by the Afghan Govt. in 1974 and donated as a sign of friendship to Canada. She has been subsequently beautifully restored and is now held in the Reserve Collection of the Canada Aviation Museum.
