This is painted more or less as Zimmermanns Bölkow of aerial demonstration fame, but is an unknown civil NBo105. Its plate was removed and no cockpit radio call plate was visible either. Any offers?

The technical school SMK Negeri 29 in Jakarta held several frames. Obviously, this is not an Airbus 380 cockpit but rather - I think - a Wackett frame. Indonesia inherited 27 of these from the Militaire Luchtvaart van het Koninklijk Nederlandsch-Indisch Leger (ML-KNIL) the Dutch Netherlands Indies air force. They were registered in the B-301 to B-330 range and no survivors were known, until now. If it is indeed a CA-6 and a former TNI-AU example at that...

The Caudron C.714-R was designed in 1938 by Marcel Riffard to challenge the world speed record, then held by German pilot H. Würster in a Bf 109 prototype at 610 km/h (380 mph). Unlike its later sibling, the C.714 Cyclone fighter, the C.714-R was intended solely for racing and performance testing, not for combat. The project was abandoned before completion as attention shifted to military needs, though its design work influenced the later C.710-C.714 fighter prototypes.

Engineer of French origin, Octave Chanute built several models of gliders at the end of 19th century. The biplane completed several hundred glider flights over a period of several weeks in 1896 without incident. The glider on display was reportedly purchased from Octave Chanute at the 1904 World's Fair in Saint-Louis, Missouri. It was donated to the Museum in 1925.

The Vuia 1, displayed at the Musée de l'Air et de l'Espace in Paris-Le Bourget, is the original 1906 aircraft designed by Romanian inventor Traian Vuia. On March 18, 1906, Vuia achieved the first powered flight from a flat surface using a wheeled undercarriage, covering a distance of approximately 12 meters. The aircraft was powered by a carbonic acid engine and featured a high-wing monoplane design. Vuia donated the original aircraft to the museum in 1925.

It was powered by a 50 hp Gnome rotary engine and fitted with three floats. On 12 April 1911 it crashed and was damaged beyond repair.
