I visited 36 years after marching on that exact parade grounds as an Air Force recruit going through basic training. It was assigned registration N343CV in February 2005, but this was not taken up and it was delivered as C-FOFI. It was eventually registered as N413PB a few months after this photo was taken, in October 2007. The aircraft is seen here undergoing restoration on the ramp, before being moved to Buckeye, AZ in late 2011/early 2012.

Retired in 1967, it was converted to a cocktail lounge in Penndel, PA. It was disassembled and donated to the AMC Museum in 1997. Its fake military serial number 40315 (54-0315) is not a C-121 serial, but was assigned to a Northrop F-89H Scorpion fighter aircraft.
