The AB code was applied randomly and did not refer to No 401 Sqn. 3661 served with the Fort Churchill, Manitoba Station Flight and with No 408 Sqn at Rockcliffe, Ottawa. Donated to India in 1963, becoming BM-1004. Sold back to Canada in 1990, becoming C-GPPL. Current in Alaska as a DHC-3T, N753AK, as of 2021.
