Donated to the Yorkshire Air Museum, Elvington (UK), in Dec 2001, restored to 'engine run' status, and painted as KN353 Royal Air Force, which was its true original serial from 1945 to 1953. As most DC-3/C-47s were, this was a well travelled aircraft which saw service with multiple operators. It finished active life going to the Yorkshire Air Museum and, at the last known report, painted as KN353.
