Stored in the distinctive Harvest Air cols. Later to Janes Aviation and then Air Atlantique. Retired 2001. Donated to the Yorkshire Air Museum, Elvington (UK), in Dec 2001, restored to 'engine run' status, and painted as KN353 Royal Air Force, which was its true original serial from 1945 to 1953. As most DC-3/C-47s were, this was a well travelled aircraft which saw service with multiple operators. It finished active life going to the Yorkshire Air Museum and, at the last known report, painted as KN353.

Ex G-AMYJ. Painted as KG427 but it is really ex KN353 / XF747.

Ex G-AMYJ. Served 110, 96 and 243 RAF Squadrons as KN353. Maintained in taxying condition.

Photographed at the Yorkshire Air museum Night Shoot. The original plan was to have the Dakota outside but she isn't waterproof so due to the inclement weather she was photographed from outside with the hangar doors open. The guys in uniforms/flying jackets on the right were from the museum to give a period, 'diorama' effect. Ex G-AMYJ / KN353.

Now carrying her true serial (rather than KG427 as previously displayed here) after her recent repaint. Photographed at this wonderful museum's March Nightshoot though note that her true colour is green rather than brown, which is simply an artfifact of the yellow illumination. Ex G-AMYJ.
