Sold to BAC Charter, the aircraft crashed on October 18, 1991 in Greenland on delivery to Southend, UK. Icing conditions forced descent below clouds, but the aircraft hit an ice sheet at 5125 feet. The aircraft stalled from about 150 feet and crashed heavily on the runway. The wreckage was acquired by Ashe Aircraft Enterprises and was rebuilt by 1997. The aircraft was last with Element Otter LLC [Bridger Aerospace) as N32CV from November 2020 at the time of uploading.

Airshow pilot Sean D. Tucker founded the School of Aerobatic Flight based at Salinas, CA in 1997. After moving to King City in 2001, the school partnered with watchmaker Tutimua and re-named the school Tutima Academy of Aviation Safety in 2006. Along with a Pitts S-2B, an Extra 300L and a T-6, this Aviat Aviation built Pitts S-2C is available for aerobatic and upset training for new pilots to those seeking to go into competition aerobatics.
