WP833 was taken on strength by the RAF in 1952. Leaving the Air Force circa 2000, the trainer has been registered G-BZDU, N918HF and N833WP. It's pictured with a new badge celebrating the centenary of the Royal Air Force. The RAF was the first independent air force formed when the Army's Royal Flying Corps merged with the Royal Naval Air Service on April 1, 1918.
