This former Israeli Defence Force C-47B, 016 / 4X-FNN, was sold to Global Aviation Inc and flown to Canada in 2001. The Douglas became a warbird in the USA when it was sold in 2007 to the Gooney Bird Group. In three years time the aircraft was restored by the group in Paso Robles (CA) and painted in its former original USAAF colours and serial 43-48608.

To the Swedish Air Force in 1975, it was struck off strength in May 1984. It had been with the Swedish Air Force Museum at Malmen Airbase since 1982 before traded for Spitfire PR Mk. XIX PM627 in the USA. The aircraft is pictured enroute to new owner Military Aircraft Restoration to be registered N5467Y. Sold as N56V in 1996, it has been preserved at the Tillamook Air Museum (Later moved to the Erickson Aircraft Collection in Madras OR).
