While Thunder Airlines has Beech King Airs and one Cessna Caravan for their scheduled and charter work with northern Ontario communities, they use their MU-2s mainly for medivac flights. This one has been in their fleet since November 2003.

This 2004 Cessna 182 made the first Belarusian around the world flight in 2018. The aircraft was registered EW-490LL at the time and flew eastbound from Belarus August 18 - September 15, 2018. The aircraft was registered in the USA in 2022.

Among improvements to the first generation jet airliners was the turbo fan engine. In an answer to the Rolls - Royce Conway, Pratt & Whitney developed the JT3D. A version of the JT3C already in service, the older engine could also be upgraded to a JT3D during major overhaul. Quickly making a mark on the Boeing 707 fleets, Douglas also offered the engine for the DC-8s. The DC-8-50 series and DC-8-61 used the cowling pictured here and it is shown with the thrust reverser deployed. These were the days the jet exhaust and the fan air were directed forward. Aircraft is either CF-CPM or CF-CPT.

Air Methods operated this EC135 for Cleveland based University Hospitals. Air Methods moved the helicopter to Florida for Orlando Air Care in 2022 registered N908EC.

Delivered to BOAC in 1969 and seen here between flights shortly after the merger that formed British Airways. Acquired by the Royal Air Force in 1981, the aircraft was stored at RAF Abingdon until broken up in 1987.

First delivered to Canadian Airlines on April 27, 1990 on lease from GECAS (GE Capital Aviation Service). Merged into Air Canada in 2001, the airliner was placed with Air Canada Rouge in 2018. Stored at Marana, AZ in 2020, it was converted to a freighter in 2023 and re-entered service with Air Canada Cargo (in basic Rouge colors).

Taken on Strength as 26143 in December 1965, this Tutor was an instructional airframe (serial A764) by 1977. The trainer returned to flying in July 1985 and later flew with the Aerospace Engineering Test Establishment at CFB Cold Lake. Conversion to Snowbird configuration began in December2009 and the aircraft joined the team for the 2011 season after painting.

Initially PH-LLK (Pallas) with KLM 1960 - 68, this Electra next flew freight with Universal Airlines as N860U. The aircraft was one of the assets bought by Saturn Airlines in 1972 when Universal ceased flying. Merged into Trans International Airlines in 1976, the carrier changed their name to Transamerica Airlines in 1979. The freighter was leased to Interstate Airlines 1984 - 87. Sold once again to TPI International Airways in November 1987, it was withdrawn in 1990 when TPI ceased flying. Stored at Oklahoma City - Tinker AFB , OK, N860U scrapped in 1991.

This 1975 Bell JetRanger started with Northern Mountain Helicopters in April 1975. The company was bought by Vancouver Island Helicopters in 2002 and this machine was sold to Qwest Helicopters within weeks. Starting with this helicopter and one other, Qwest still has it in their varied fleet at the time of uploading.

Delivered to Ontario Express December 10, 1987 to operate as a Canadian Partner. Disposed of in June 1994, the aircraft went on to fly in Scandinavia before returning to the UK. Last flying as G-LNKS, it was withdrawn from use by Links Air in November 2015. Seen registered as 2-LCXO and painted for Firnas Airways circa 2017, last info I have is it never operated and remains stored at Oxford, UK.

Maybe not evident from it's pristine condition, this is an early Cessna 310 delivered in 1956.

A 1969 Mooney M-20 in warbird colors. A bit of word play using the color scheme of WWII P-51 Mustang 44-13321 "Cripes A Mighty 3rd" and a nod to Mooney Aircraft founder Al Mooney.

Mooney Aircraft Company purchased the Ercoupe type certificate from the Alon Corporation in 1967. Thirty-eight standard Ercoupes were before tooling was ready to produce the M-10 Cadet. The aircraft had modified ailerons and a redesigned tail to allow it to spin (something the original was designed not to do). This allowed it to be marketed as a trainer. The Cadet was built 1969 - 70, manufacturing 59 aircraft. The type certificates for the original Ercoupe and Cadet were later sold to Univair Aircraft Corporation who continue to provide parts for all versions.

Pictured on approach with Pratt & Whitney engines as delivered in 1971. The original cowling design included blow-in doors around the intakes for more air at higher power settings. The cowling design was extended on later deliveries to eliminate the need for these doors.

This former Hughes Air West 727 was leased to Philippine Airlines August 1979 - September 1981. By the time the aircraft returned, Hughes had merged with Republic Airlines. In 1986 Republic would merge with Northwest Airlines. N725RW was returned to the lessor (Pegasus Aviation) in 1996 following leases included Ecuatoriana 1996 - 2000 as HC-BVM), one year with Express One after freighter conversion, LAB Lloyd Aéreo Boliviano 2006 - 06 as CP-2428 and Total Linhas Aereas (PR-TTP) from 2008. It was grounded at Porto Alegre-Salgado Filho International Airport , Brazil in May 2024 due flooding.

A Convair R4Y-1 when delivered to the US Navy, this aircraft was later converted to a VC131F. Retired in 1986 and stored ar AMARC, it was allotted registration N14094 in 2000 and acquired by Kelowna Flightcraft. The aircraft was converted to a Convair 5800 by 2004 and registered C-FKFS . Operated by Air Freight NZ as ZK-KFS 2004 - 15, it returned to Kelowna Flightcraft Air Charter as C-FKFS.

Leased to CommutAir as N44695 in March 2000, the registration on this Beech 1900D was changed a year later to N831CA. Returned to Raytheon for good in 2006, it next flew with Air Link as VH-RUI from November 2006. The aircraft was acquired by West Wind Aviation in February 2011. In January 2021 it was announced that West Wind would merge with subsidiary Transwest Air and be rebranded as Rise Air.

With Queen Charlotte Helicopters from 1981 to December 1988, this Hughes 500 went to the USA as to N369SH. The registration was cancelled there August 29, 1989.
