Delivered December 27, 1958 as a KC-135A, 57-1514 was converted in November 1979 to KC-135R. The Wisconsin Air National Guard aircraft has new "Home of the Brew City Tankers" colors, a heritage design that reflects the unit's pride and the history of Milwaukee City.

This former 7th Airborne Command and Control Squadron/55th Wing EC-135C Looking Glass was operating out of Offutt AFB (NE) until is was stored at AMARC on 21 October 1988. It received inventory code CA0124. It was moved to HVF West, Tucson (AZ) on 1 August 2016 where its was sadly scrapped. Pictured in last light over Davis Monthan.

This interesting EC-135 Scope Light of the 6th Airborne Command and Control Squadron/1st Fighter Wing, Langley AFB (VA) arrived at AMARC and received inventory code CA0010 on 27 February 1992 and left the storage depot on 20 June 2016. It was scrapped by HVF West, Tucson (AZ). Operation Scope Light provided five EC-135J/P command post aircraft to the Commander in Chief, US Atlantic Command (CINCLANT), which were based at Langley AFB (VA). All five aircraft were subsequently retired. Pictured in last light over the massive storage depot.

Its wing-tip refuelling pods already removed, this KC-135RG was readied for retirement when this picture was taken during Bastille Day 2025, the last appearance of this type over Paris. A few days later, it made its last flight with the French Air Force to Nimes, to be sold to Metrea. It wears special tail markings, commemorating its years of faithful service.

Built as a RC-135B. this RC-135V is returning in the late afternoon to Nellis, after supporting training flights over the Nellis ranges.

This tanker was rolled out as a KC-135A-BN in January 1961 and was first based at Wurtsmith AFB, MI, going to the 70th BW, Clinton-Sherman AFB, OK by 1967. While on refuelling ops in the Gulf of Tonkin in May 1967, it received an emergency request from six Navy aircraft which were dangerously low on fuel while helping with the rescue of a downed airman. A daisy chain via two A-3 tankers allowed the F-8s and F-4s which otherwise could not get back to their carrier to be refuelled, winning the USAF crew the 1967 Mackay Trophy. Rolled out in August 1961 as a C-135A, after service with MATS, 60-0374 was converted to an EC-135N Apollo Range Instrumention Aircraft (ARIA) by Douglas Tulsa and Bendix as a mobile tracking and telemetry platform to support the Apollo space program and other unmanned space flight operations. After the Apollo program ended it was renamed Advanced Range Instrumentation Aircraft and was transferred from Patrick AFB to the 4950th Test Wing, Wright-Patterson AFB, being TF33 re-engined to become an EC-135E in 1982. Passing to the 412th TW, Edwards in 1994, it was retired to the NMUSAF in Nov 2000
