Ex JA6305 with Japan Air Lines and SE-CCI with SAS, it was damaged beyond repair in an overrun accident at Luton on 3rd March 1974.

this DC-7 was a write-off after a no. 4 engine failure on takeoff at SDQ 18feb1993

Initially built for Sabena (OO-SFB) in 1956 but converted to DC-7C(F) in 1961. It was leased to Persian Air Services (EP-AEP) in 1961 and returned to Sabena the year later. Spantax leased it it in 1969 and finally bought it in 1973 using it until 1977 when ended stored it at Barajas. In 1980 initiated its Americas tour with Talingo (HP-868), T&G, Beamy Air Supply and Antillas Air Cargo (N3775U) and finally Aerochago in 1992 to be lost in a crash after take off near Miami 6th November 1992.

N2977 with International Aerodyne in1970 and transferred to the United Arab Emirates early 1976, the aircraft crashed in Kenya in October 1976 in service for Emirates Air Transport

from my collection, photographer unknown, delivered to Swissair as HB-IBM Jan 1957, purchased by Riddle Airlines in Apr 1962 and converted to freighter, with ONA between Apr 1962 and Jul 1964, then operated by Shannon Air as EI-ANM until 1966. Returned to USA and lsd to Airlift International for a year as N302G again, owned by F.B.Ayer. Had different lessors onwards and is believed to have been w/o in Colombia sometime in 1979.

Negative from FNG Archive. While operating a cargo flight from Frankfurt to Stuttgart in poor weather fog persisted at the destination in combination with partly unservicable approach lights and an unreliable glide slope. Letting down below minima the aircraft struck ground shortly before and north of the threshold tearing off the complete undercarriage and #3 engine. Surprisingly a go around could be initiated and the flight was diverted to Nuremberg were a belly landing was carried out on the foamed runway. Subsequently scrapped. Note escape rope from cockpit window and feathered #2 engine.

Delivered new to BOAC as DC-7C G-AOII in January 1957. Converted to DC-7C(F) in 1960 and sold via Universal Trading Corp to SAS as OY-KNE in June 1965. Sold to FB Ayer in the US as N9000T in March 1967 and operated Universal Airlines before lease to Air Caribbean Transport as 6Y-JFS from May 1968 - April 1970. A familiar sight in Miami's 'corrosion corner' in the 1980s and 90s, she flew with various freight companies until bought by FA Conner in February 1992. After a period of storage at Miami, she was broken up there in February 1998.

Flew with SAS as SE-CCE from 1957 to 1960 then converted to a freighter in March 1961. Despite the freighter conversion it is here on a passenger service as evidenced by the three flight attendants walking towards the aircraft. Rebranded as Airlift International in 1963 and later scrapped.

T&G Aviation.

Delivered to Northwest Orient in February 1958 as a DC7C and converted to a freighter in October 1961 for Riddle Airlines, later re-named Airlift International. Sold in 1972 and operated by various freight companies until stored at Madrid, Spain in 1974. Sold to a company called Custom Air Inc in June 1978 and impounded by the authorities in Bogota later the same year. Scrapped by 1996
