Initially built for Sabena (OO-SFB) in 1956 but converted to DC-7C(F) in 1961. It was leased to Persian Air Services (EP-AEP) in 1961 and returned to Sabena the year later. Spantax leased it it in 1969 and finally bought it in 1973 using it until 1977 when ended stored it at Barajas. In 1980 initiated its Americas tour with Talingo (HP-868), T&G, Beamy Air Supply and Antillas Air Cargo (N3775U) and finally Aerochago in 1992 to be lost in a crash after take off near Miami 6th November 1992.

from my collection, photographer unknown, aircraft was delivered in 1956 to SABENA as OO-SFB and lsd. to PAS as EP-AEP for a short period in early 1960. Later in service for Spantax as EC-BSP, further regs. N3775U and HI-619CA, w/o FLL 6th November 1992 whilst operating for Aerotim Cargo as HI-619SP

Later leased to Persian Air Services as EP-EAP, then sold to Spantax as EC-BSP circa 1970. On 6 November 1992, when HI-619SP, it ditched in the ocean after take-off from Fort Lauderdale (KFLL) due to being overweight and losing two engines.

Belonged to T & G Aviation at the time. Among others, it had previously operated with Spantax EC-BSP and, of origin, Sabena OO-SFB.

Still wearing Panamanian flag on the tail and registration HP-868 under the wing.

Delivered new to Sabena as OO-SFB on 13.12.56. Served with Persian Air Services as EP-AEP 04.61 to 01.62. OO-SFB again until sale to Spantax as EC-BSP in 10.69; stored from 01.77. HP-868 1978 until bought by T&G in 06.80 as N3775U. To HI-619SP with Aerochago in 04.92 but crashed in sea near Miami 06.11.92.
