Arrived at Innsworth in November 1981 from the Chemical Defense Establishment at Porton Down who had been using the aircraft for ground trials. Allocated maintenance serial 8703M and after restoration by the Cotswold Aircraft Restoration Group was placed as a gate guard in March 1994, replacing Javelin XH903. Restored and displayed by 1988 in 738 Sqn 'Red Devils' colour scheme in what was then known as the Cornwall Aeropark (renamed the 'Flambard Experience' in 1991). Moved in 1993 to a private collection at Bakers Hill Farm, Birlingham where it fell into disrepair after many years of neglect.
