Built in 1956 and primarily used for testing throughout her service life, firstly by De Havilland, then by the A&AEE at Boscombe Down and finally by the RAE at Bedford for arrester gear trials. In 1969 she was acquired by the IWM and displayed on loan at the Shuttleworth Collection at Old Warden before moving to Duxford in 1971. Moved to the Muzeum Lotnictwa Polskiego at Kraków in 2012.
