Last flown with 750 Sqn at Culdrose, the undercarriage collapsed while taxying at Yeovilton on 26 October 1978 and following spares reclamation the aircraft was used for rescue training before being relegated to the fire dump by the end of 1981. In July 1995 the fuselage was transported to Carlisle for spares use in the restoration of WP314 displayed with the Solway Aviation Museum.
