The US Air Force took delivery of twoTwin Otters designated UV-18Bs on September 6, 1977 . Both were given registrations for the Air Force Academy, this one (former 77-0465) on November 17, 1977. It's still current with a different color scheme at the time of uploading.

Another of Biegert Aviation's DC-4s that started out as 42-72757 and transferred to the US Navy on delivery as bu 56530. Pretty much derelict since the airport was closed in 2007, it remains with 3 other ex-Beigert DC-4s in various stages of decoration and dis-repair. Company logo still visible on the tail.

Pictured recently delivered from South Africa via Stanstead, C-FTTW still wears Air Botswana's color scheme. Leased to Wasaya Airways in November 1996 the aircfraft was sold to the airline in January 1999. While off loading fuel from bladders on June 12, 2012, the aircraft caught fire and burned out at Dandy Lake, Ont.

Originally VR-HOT when delivered to Cathay Pacific September 28, 1990, this 747-467 was re-registered B-HOT when Hong Kong was handed back to China in 1997. The aircraft was retired in October 2012 and flown to Cotswold Airport in the UK. Parting out of the airliner began in December 2012.

This former US Army Beaver (ex 56-4430, delivered November 28, 1957) has been flying with Kenmore Air since 2006. In 2010 it was repainted in these nice Rocky and Bullwinkle colours, with Rocky on the nose and Bullwinkle on the fin.

A workhorse for the Coast Guard from March 8, 1973 when delivered from Sikorsky until withdrawn and sold to Carson Helicopters in 2011 as N704WK. Carson sold it to the US Department of State a couple of months later as the government was buying up all the S-61s they could find for work overseas. Sold by auction in late 2016, the helicopter was registered to to Robertson Air Crane on March 18, 2017.

On April 24, 1945, RAF Halifax NA337 ditched in Lake Mjøsa, Norway after being hit by enemy flak. During the summer of 1995, the Halifax Aircraft Association and volunteers from Canada and Norway raised the bomber from the bottom of the lake. Over the next ten years the aircraft was completely restored. Unveiled at the National Air Force Museum of Canada in Trenton Ont. in November 2005, it is the only complete Handley Page Halifax on display.

Delivered to Canadian Pacific Airlines May 3, 1963 and sold to ARCA Colombia in December 1982, this Rolls-Royce Conway powered DC-8 was not used and stored at Miami, FL until broken up in 1990.

Air BC's first Dash 8 pictured in the original color scheme sporting short lived CP Air Commuter titles. Air Canada bought a majority share in Air BC during 1987 and they became an Air Canada Connector.

Delivered to Midwest Aviation July 17, 1969 as CF-MAK. Sold after the airline was merged with Transair as they already had YS-11s in their fleet. Bought by Gateway Aviation in April 1972, this airline was bought by Northward Airlines in 1979 and the aircraft again sold. Bought by Calm Air International , the rugged airliner remained with them, save for a short lease to Air Creebec (October 1989-March 1990), until withdrawn in November 2002 and stored at Thompson. MB. It was used for parts and gradually broken up with the registration cancelled in December 2007 and re-used on an ATR-42.

Originally 49-3449 that went to the Spanish AF as E.16-197. Sold May 1982 to civil registry as N29931.

Sad end for World War II veteran built as 43-17188 and transferred to the US Navy on delivery as bu 90389. Ending up with Biegert Aviation and used for aerial spraying, the company's DC-4 fleet remained stored at Chandler Memorial airport when the business closed down. Acquired by Brooks Fuel Inc of Alaska in 2001, it remained in place as a source of parts. After commercial operators were evicted from the airport in 2007, at airport was abandoned and the aircraft deteriorated and .became graffiti billboards.

Arriving in front of Toronto's original Terminal 1 which opened February 28, 1964. You could almost always see a few spotters taking advantage of the parking levels and roof for a good view. The building closed April 6, 2004 simutaneously with the opening of the new Terminal 1 that was built adjacent to the old one. It was quickly torn down to make room for more International gates.

Delivered to Trans-Canada Airlines in 1954, CF-TGE was restored to it's former glory in 2007 for display at Seattle's Museum of Flight.

The major influence of the Boeing 727 on trunk routes and even some overseas ones at the major airlines is sometimes forgotten these days. This 1966 727-022 was only sold to FedEx in 1989 as they continued their expansion and was converted to a freighter. Retired to Mojave, CA January 2000, it has been slowly parted out.

Delivered to the RCAF in 1942 (5377), this Hurricane was struck off strength in 1946. Stored on a Portage la Prairie, Manitoba farm, the aircraft was rebuilt by Bob Diemert from 1964 - 1968. After participating in the movie "Battle of Britain", the fighter remained in the UK and was part of the Strathallan Collection from 1969-1984. Acquired by the Canadian Warplane Heritage, it was airlifted by Canadian Air Force C-130 Hercules in May 1984 to be a prominent part of their collection. Unfortunately the Hurricane was lost with four other aircraft on February 15, 1993 when a hangar caught fire.
