Originally delivered to Tarom as YR-BCL in July 1977. Later leased to Lauda Air as OE-ILC, Istanbul Airlines as TC-AKA and British Island Airways (as YR-BCL), Ryanair finally returned this 1-11 to Tarom in November 1992. It went to Chrome Air as 5N-UJC in April 1999, wfu and stored at Lagos in May 2002 and later scrapped

RFG merged with NFD to form Eurowings in 1993. This ATR went to Israir as 4X-ATN in June 1998 and was stored at Blytheville, AR after being wfu in February 2013. Broken up in 2014

At that time the Italian Air Force used some G-222s specifically converted and PD-808s for the radio checking of navaids. These aircrafts were equipped with a sophisticated automatic checking system based on a computer coupled with an inertial navigation system. Duties later fully transferred to the civil ENAV that already operated some aircrafts.

First flown at Renton, WA 4 August 1988 and delivered to South African Airways ten days later. Leased to VASP as PP-SNW November 1985 to March 1988 and to Namib Air/Air Namibia November 1989 to May 1991. Sold to TANS Peru June 2005. Written off on approach to Pucallpa, Peru 23 August 2005. Sitting on the ramp out of the Maintenance Center hangar, the aircraft shows all hydraulically actuated moving parts in resting postion, including the lowered radar dome. Main bay doors and other service doors where usually left open. Aicraft with original initial livery and unit codes.

The first eight italian Atlantic wore an individual code equal to the construction number. At the time of this photo the codes of this aircraft were still the original and big high visibility ones. On the background the Atlantic that sits on the ramp is MM40113 c/n 75 and unit codes 30-75

The flight line in Elmas in front of the Maintenance Center hangar. When 30 Stormo was disbanded 31 July 2002, the 86 Gruppo and its Atlantics were transferred to Sigonella, becoming part of the 41 Stormo. Since this Stormo already hosted the 88 Gruppo equipped with the other half of the Atlantic fleet, the 86 Gruppo was mainly tasked with training duties for new assigned pilots.

Gate guardian at the entrance of the 30° Stormo, when the wing and its 86 Gruppo was still operating from Sardinia. 30 Stormo was disbanded and 86 Gruppo transferred and incorporated in 41° Stormo at Sigonella. This gate guardian had been reported to have been moved and stored partially disassembled.
