Slide from the NK collection. - G-ATPL was one of four DAN-AIR Bac 1-11s, which were sold to LADECO of Chile in 1990/1991. After three or four years of service in South America, two of those were kept at the museum at Los Cerillos, but the example shown here was not so lucky and was broken up.

G-AMPP operated for Dan Air from 1961 to 1971. After that the Dakota was preserved as G-AMSU at Lasham. At some point it moved to France, where it sat with EuroDisney, awaiting some sort of use but of which came nothing. In 2002, they started to scrap it, "Wings of Liberation" had it moved to the museum in Best, NL, this took place on 29 August 2002. On 26Feb05 this DC-3 was put on transport to Berlin, having been sold to the German film company Teamworx Television. Ex XF756, G-AMPP, KK136, 43-49456. Used by Dan-Air as its 'gate guard', falsely painted as G-AMSU, their very first aircraft. It is actually G-AMPP, sold to Aces High in November 1991 who sold it on to Eurodisney in France, where it was put on display. In 2002 it went to a museum in the Netherlands. In 2005 it was used in a film about the Berlin Airlift ("Die Luftbrucke") painted as KN491, in which the airframe was set ablaze. Subsequently reported as being with the Wings of Liberation Museum at Best, Netherlands, for restoration in USAAF markings.

Coming in for a short fuel stop at NUE. This ex JAL aircraft was lost in an accident near Tenerife - Los Rodeos on April 25, 1980.

Delivered new to Dan-Air London in February 1988. Over to British Airways November 1992. In March 1994 Excalibur Airways (G-OCHA), until December, when sold to Nordic East Airways (SE-DTA). In January 1997 leased to Deutsche BA and in June 1997 sold to Easyjet (G-EZYE). In spring 1999 to Southwest Airlines (N317WN). Since November 2016 stored at Tucson (AZ).

Dan-Air had been the first airline to put the 146 into commercial service, back in 1983. This Series 300 was delivered in August 1990.
