Taxiing out from Victoria's Inner Harbour through the narrows to the Outer Harbour for takeoff. Delivered new to McMurray Air Service in 1959 as CF-LAP. Served with a number of Saskatchewan operators as C-FLAP from 1978, before moving to Quebec in 1989. Withdrawn from use in 2008 and put up for sale at St. Hyacinthe, QC in 2010. Bought by Harbour Air in 2011. After conversion to Vazar turbine power, the installation of panoramic windows, and a repaint in white and yellow company colours, joined the Harbour Air fleet as "319".

This is former USAF HU-16A 49-0076. It went to the Taiwan AF and has been preserved here at least since 1995.

After landing in Victoria's Outer Harbour, taxiing through the narrows towards the seaplane docks in the Inner Harbour. Delivered new to the Falklands Islands Government Air Service (FIGAS) in 1958 as VP-FAH. Served there prominently until 1967, featuring on Falklands Islands postage stamps. Initially re-registered as N17598 with a Mexico City owner and then joined Kenmore Air in 1968.

Coming in low over Victoria's hotel and apartment blocks to touch down in the Outer Harbour. Delivered new to the Union of Burma Air Force in 1961 as UB-657, later 4657. Became SE-KOX with a Swedish parachute club in 1990, after Vazar turbine conversion in Canada. Exported to the USA in 2005 as N406H. Bought by Harbour Air in 2006 as C-FHAH. Ferried to Malta in 2007 for services to the island of Gozo as 9H-AFA of Harbour Air (Malta). Returned to Canada in 2012 to rejoin the main Harbour Air fleet as "314" C-FHAJ.

Taxiing out from the seaplane docks in Victoria's Inner Harbour to take off from the more open waters of the Outer Harbour on a scheduled service. Delivered new to Wheeler Airlines in 1956 as CF-IUZ. Flew survey-equipped with Scintrex from 1970 until 1975 as CF-IUZ-X. After service with a number of operators across Quebec as C-FIUZ, joined Harbour Air in 2001 and received a Vazar conversion to PT-6 turbine power before entering service with the fleet as "306".

The Dutch national archives know nothing about this old press archive photo but the Reading Sky Observers, described as forerunner of Air-Britain, installed this Ju fuselage as a clubhouse at Woodley in 1947. Scrapped there by Miles Aircraft, c/n 641038 was built by Amiot in March 1944 and delivered to Lufthansa as D-AUAV Julius Nimis. On 23 April 1945, D-AUAV escaped from Berlin - Tempelhof with a load of passengers. On 3 May it made one of the last DLH flights, from Flensburg to Copenhagen and Malmö and back. Captured by British forces and allocated serial AM104. Its last flight was on 23 August 1945 to Farnborough for an exhibition of German aircraft. Photo from: Nationaal Archief (Netherlands)

Preserved at the Southwest Aerospace Museum which closed in 1992. It was moved on to the airfield after the museum closed. Bought by a private party in 2001 and trucked to Colorado Springs, CO. Preserved off the West side of the airport at the Radisson Inn & Suites on Newport Road.
