Still in basic Trans Union colours.

Shown here in its delivery colours, D-GERT has been registered in Germany since 47 years and is in service with Sylt Air in 2022.

Photographer not known. EC-CDC was delivered in 1960 to UAT (later UTA) as F-BJLA and was leased to TAE from 1973 until that company ceased operations at the end of 1981. The company's IATA code was "JK" and radio callsign "Juliett Kilo" or sometimes "Trabajos".

First flown at Hurn on 29 August 1957 at Hurn as part of an order for BOAC Associated Companies. The first operator was Middle East Airlines where c/n 240 flew as OD-ACU. MEA sub-leased OD-ACU to Jersey Airlines before purchasing it from BOAC for lease to Jordan Airways in 1961. Returned to MEA in 1964, it was sold to Air Rhodesia as VP-WAR in 1968. In 1976 it was sold to Aviation Hire & Travel as ZS-JPU and leased to Swazi Air. Re-registered 3D-AAL the same year, it remained on lease to Swazi until 1979 when returned for lease to Air Rhodesia. Sold to Air Zimbabwe in 1981 and scrapped in 1986

slide from the NK collection. - Alisarda operated three Friendships, all were acquired from Philippine Air Lines. This one in new colours was sold again in 1978 and continued flying for German and Austrian operators. It ended up as D-BAKE with WDL and was wfu at Cologne in 1992.

A very British photo at Heathrow with four iconic designs in the background as this Trident 2E it towed to the gate. Delivered to British European Airways May 30, 1968, G-AVFF was withdrawn in November 1984 (ten years after the formation of British Airways). The aircraft was broken up at Southend in January 1985.
