Ex W1731. Originally built as an Anson XI. Registered G-ALXH 16 January 1950. Rebuilt in 1955 to Anson 19/2 standard, being re-engined and using the fuselage of PH808. Shortly after taking off from Leeds-Bradford en route to Belfast on 9 April 1963, smoke filled the cockpit and it was thought the starboard engine had failed, whereupon that engine was shut down and a forced landing attempted in a field near Guiseley, Yorkshire, in which substantial damage was incurred. The three occupants were uninjured. Cancelled 14 May 1963 as destroyed.

Later to Derby Airways which was renamed British Midland Airways. Crashed in Stockport on approach to Manchester on 4th June 1967

The static test airframe sitting in its rig. Visible to the rear of the door are wrinkles in the skin created when the fuselage was overloaded. Later converted to a caravan.

Delivered in June 1960 and flew with BOAC until transfer to British Airtours in 1973. Withdrawn and later used as a training aid at Stansted (EGSS) circa 1987 until scrapped in 1991.

Served initially for USAAF as 42-24211 and participated to D-Day in Normandy with 48 Sqn / 313 TCG. Sold to Aigle Azur as F-BEFA and to Royal Air Maroc in 1957. Became later N54607 & G-BPMP. Finaly reduced to spares and scrapped in 1995. Taken by a member of my family in 1961.
