Ex USN BuNo 46457 and Brazilian AF FAB 6510, painted to depict a USAAF OA-10. After retirement from the Brazilian AF in 1981 the aircraft was acquired by warbird collector David Tallichet, registered N4582U and in 1983 flown to the USA. In 1984 Tallichet negotiated an arrangement with the U.S. Air Force Museum and the aircraft was flown to Kirtland AFB where it remained for several decades. The registration N4582U was cancelled on 2nd December 2016 as exported to the Russian Federation, and the aircraft was last reported in 2021 at the UMMC Museum in Verkhnyaya Pyshma, Sverdlovsk, Russia. 

As far as I can find out the true identity of this airframe has never been established. It is often said to be c/n 19458 ex N3433E, but that airframe was discovered in the Basler store at Oshkosh in July 2010. It is painted to depict SC-47A 43-15732 which was destroyed when it hit high ground near Bao Lac, South Vietnam on 11th February 1962.

Sikorsky HSS-1N Seabat BuNo 148938 photographed on display at Kirtland AFB. It was retired by the US Navy to MASDC, (as it then was), at Tucson in 1974 but was later re-issued to the USAF as an UH-34J, hence its presence in this museum.

Photographed outside the USAF Rescue Heritage Hall Museum at Kirtland AFB, Albuquerque, NM., but is now believed to be held in storage at The Museum of Aviation at Robins AFB, GA.

Ex-US Coast Guard Grumman HU-16E Albatross serial 1280 photographed on display at the USAF Rescue Heritage Hall Museum at Kirtland AFB, Albuquerque, New Mexico. The aircraft is painted to depict USAF HU-16B 51-071 which was destroyed by enemy fire, and two of its crew killed, whilst attempting to rescue the crew of a shot-down USAF F-4C Phantom off Haiphong, North Vietnam, on 14th March 1966.

This is a composite of 52-8706 and 52-8691. Preserved at the Rescue Museum from 1981 with fake marks 34343. Later marked as 8706. Moved to Little Rock AFB Heritage Park in 2016.

Preserved at the Rescue Heritage Hall as 43-15732 since at least 1989. The real 43-15732 was shot down in Viet Nam in 1962. The Rescue Heritage Hall closed in 2002, and this C-47 was transferred to the Kirtland Air Force Base Historical Collection. It was still on display at Kirtland by 2023.
