Ex N6685, RCAF (3TM) 1567. Registration cancelled on 21 July 1972 and restored as N6685. It became N1171X on 14 September 1973, and was damaged beyond repair when it force landed in Shelbyville, Indiana on 19 November 1976.

Built as 43-35478 and transferred to the Royal Air Force as HB109 in 1943. Taken over by the Royal Canadian Air Force in May 1944 with the same serial, it was rebuilt as a Mk.3T after 1952. Bought by Pratt & Whitney in 1960, it was modified to test the new PT-6 turbo prop engine mounted on the nose. Registered CF-ZWY-X, last flight as an engine test bed occurred in 1980. Acquired by Ecole Nationale d'Aeronautique (ENA) at nearby St Hubert , QC in June 1981, it was used for decades as one of the school's technical aerospace training aircraft. The Expeditor is preserved in front of the school.

Remanufactured by Beech from AT-11 42-36852 c/n 3232 to C-45H 52-10643 for the USAF in 1953. To N9361Z. To N6625R then converted to Dumod Infinite Trigear N491DM in 1964. Still current on the register in 2022 with an owner in Florida. (Credit to Paul Seymour for this information).

The aircraft was in a very poor state with deflated and rotting tyres, so obviously had not flown for some time.

This aircraft (ex N87AZ) has been restored to appear as it did when operated by Prairie Airways of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, Canada, who took delivery of it on July 17, 1938. It was the eleventh example of the Beechcraft model 18 built and, as the model suffix D indicates, it was powered by two Jacobs L-6MB engines of 330 hp each. Often incorrectly quoted as a Beech S18D.

Used extensively in South East Asia. Sold 1975 to Ciba Pilatus Aerial Spraying as HB-GFT and converted to agricultural sprayer. Used in Arabia and Africa on locust spraying contracts. Kalitta 1991, ferried to Willow Run in full Swiss markings. Remained in storage until scrapped in 2001.

ex USAF s/n 52-10894. Before being rebuilt this aircraft was AT-11, USAAF 42-37199, Beech c/n 3628 delivered to the Army Air Forces Bombardier Training School, Childress, TX on March 17, 1943. Following its remanufacture, it became C-45H, USAF 52-10894, delivered on October 13, 1954 to Hector Field, Fargo, ND for the North Dakota Air National Guard 178th Fighter Interceptor Squadron. The wind direction that morning favoured a backtrack from the Vancouver Island Air dock further into the inner harbour and a take off run from there. Seen well airborne and turning onto the line of the Campbell River to depart out over the Strait.

At low tide, the pilot sticks to the deepest part of the river mouth, manoeuvring the aircraft carefully and cautiously round the end of Tyee Spit and towards Vancouver Island Air's dock.
