This 707 was originally delivered to American Airlines August 24, 1959 as N7519A christened "Flagship Kentucky". Sold to Transavia March 1972, they operated it, including a couple of leases to Royal Air Maroc and Saudia Arabian Airlines before selling the jetliner to Guy American Airways in April 1982. Also doing business as American Overseas Airways, it was registered N519GA but was sold back to Boeing a year later as noise regulations were getting more strict and Boeing was in the market for parts in the KC-135E program. It was flown to Davis Monthan and broken up for parts.

D-ABOX in its original livery. Lufthansa's livery was in a state of continual evolution in the 1960s. D-ABOX was delivered in version No.2 with a simpler cheatline. Next to go was capitalised, italicised, serif titles, replaced by a lower case, upright Helvetica font. Finally, at the end of the 1960s came the blue tail with yellow disc. That livery took Lufthansa right through to 1988 by which time the airline's 707s had passed into history.

The Airline of Sudan leased this 707 from Zarkani Aviation Services (ex SU-DAB) for only three months, and they clearly did not bother to make many changes to the Zarkani colours. After serving with several European and African operators, this aircraft overran the runway on take-off from Bratislava on 7 February 1999 and was written off. By 2004 it was still stored there, as 9G-ROX, minus its nose section, but it was later broken up.
