D-ABOX in its original livery. Lufthansa's livery was in a state of continual evolution in the 1960s. D-ABOX was delivered in version No.2 with a simpler cheatline. Next to go was capitalised, italicised, serif titles, replaced by a lower case, upright Helvetica font. Finally, at the end of the 1960s came the blue tail with yellow disc. That livery took Lufthansa right through to 1988 by which time the airline's 707s had passed into history.
