For the movie 'A Bridge too Far' many Dakota's were assembled on Deelen airbase, where the air transport shots were taken. The Danish air force had some of their Dakotas dispatched. K-687 was one of these. Here it is seen in the sand colours of the movie, but with its Danish serial and markings in place.
By 1976 Farnborough had become fully international. This F-15 was carrying the Commemorative Bicentennial markings for the 200th Anniversary of U.S. Independence. Loaned to McDonnell Douglas as a company demonstrator in Feb 1976. Still a TF-15A at this time, was redesignated to F-15B on 1 Dec 1977.
