Pacific Western Airlines took delivery of this 737 on April 27, 1972. It's pictured departing for lease to Pan Am as N381PA "Clipper Wedding" for intra-Europe flights. When the aircraft returned in April 1987, Pacific Western had merged with Canadian Pacific Airlines and Nordair to form Canadian Airlines International. The aircraft was sold to SBG Overseas Leasing in November 1992, flying in Panama and Mexico before leased to short lived Astoria Airlines June - September 1995. It was picked up by Westjet (C-GJWE) in November 1995 before they started operations and withdrawn in November 2005.

This early 737 was with United Airlines 1968 - 97. It went to Air Philippines (RP-C2024) from 1997 and was later scrapped in Manila.

One of the pair of ex-Britannia Airways 737s which were easyJet's first aircraft, received in November 1995. The telephone number, 0990 29 29 29, was the second of three used for telephone bookings and painted on the aircraft fuselage before the airline's web address became part of their livery.

Delivered to British Airways as G-BGDN in 1980. To Lan Chile as CC-CHS in 1995 then to South African Airways as ZS-SIN in 2000 and Comair in British Airways colours in 2002. To Safair in 2004, Interlink Airlines in 2005 and back to Safair in 2006. Withdrawn from use at Kruger Mpumalanga International in 2007. Still there in 2021.

Evening charter at East Midlands in hybrid colours. The aircraft is on lease from Britannia Airways. Delivered new to Britannia Airways as G-BJCT on 06 Apr 1982. Leased to Spantax as EC-DXK on 01 Jul 1985 and returned as G-BJCT on 31 Mar 1986. Leased to Midway Airlines Nov 1988 to 10 Apr 1989 and to Euralair 20 Oct 1989 and returned to Britannia 26 Apr 1990. To Air New Zealand as ZK-NAA on 05 Nov 1993. To ADC Airlines of Nigeria in May 2002 as 5N-BED. Seen at Lagos 15 Jul 2006 probably WFU. Noted in two pieces 22 Mar 2007 and broken up by 18 Apr 2007.

Stunning light for a couple of hours on this morning - a large bank of heavy cloud to the north and overhead, but a break in the clouds to the south providing this stunning contrast.

The enlarged titles was presumably a trial livery. No other 737s were painted like this.

BA 737s were named after rivers, I don't know why this one came to be named "Hotspur".

Delivered to British Airtours as G-BGJG in 1980. To British Airways in 1982 then to Transaero as YL-BAA in 1994. Reregistered as RA-73001 in 2000. Withdrawn from use at Moscow-Domodedovo in 2003 and used as fire trainer. Still there in 2019.

Sold to Fina / Transaero as YL-BAB on 07 Apr 1994. To Transaero as RA-73000 in Jun 2000. To Indonesia with Bouraq Airlines as PK-ALK in Jun 2001. To Star Air 27 Sep 2001. Reregistered PK-CJK with Sriwijaya Air on 06 Mar 2006. Seen stored at CGK 15 Sep 2013.

Delivered to LTV Corp as N520L in 1969. To Maritime Investments as VR-BEH in 1972 then to John W. Mecom Company as N8527S in 1980 and reregistered as N3333M in 1981. To America West Airlines as N145AW in 1985. Withdrawn from use at Opa Locka, FL in 1999 and scrapped in 2000.

Delivered new to Wien Air Alaska as N491WC on 11 Jun 1979. To Arkia of Israel as 4X-BAA on 29 Mar 1982. To Dan Air as G-BKNH on 01 Apr 1983.
