Air Florida declared bankruptcy in July 1984 and was bought by Midway Airlines later that year to be operated separately as Midway Express. N57AF was returned to the lessor. America West was the next lease (N139AW) 1985 - 93. Leased by Taesa as XA-SIW 1993 - 2000 until the airline went out of business. Monterrey based AVIACSA leased it 2000 until they had their operating certificate revoked in 2011, with XA-SIW later scrapped.
