Quebec based Wheeler Airlines was the first to operate this Otter 1956 - circa 1970. Geophysical instrument company Scintrex Limited (an acronym for Scientific Instruments, Research and Exploration) used the aircraft to develop electromagnetic systems for mineral exploration and conduct airborne surveys for notable base metals and uranium exploration. Returned to passenger configuration in 1977, it flew in Quebec with eight airlines until sold to Harbour Air in Vancouver in 2001. With a Vazar turbine conversion the same year, the aircraft is current with Harbour Air at the time of uploading.

This 1958 United Airlines DC-8 got a new lease on life in 1983 when it was re-engined as a DC-8-71. Sold in 1989, the aircraft was leased back until returned to the lessor in 1991. Converted to a freighter, it was leased to Southern Air Transport 1992-93. It was next leased to Air Transport International in 1993 as N823BX and flown for Burlington Air Express. Stored at Mojave, CA circa 2009, the aircraft was later scrapped.

Delivered in October 1980, this Aurora is pictured in a more colorful era with 407 Maritime Patrol Squadron (now designated 407 Long Range Patrol Squadron) at Comox, BC. Based across the country in Greenwood, NS with 14 wing by 1986, the aircraft has been transferred back and forth several times over the decades..

Quebecair's first turbine airliner was this F-27. Delivered September 17, 1958, it would be sold to Horizon Air as that airline expanded into larger aircraft post de-regulation. Registered N273PH, the aircraft was traded to De Havilland Canada in January 1986 in part payment for new Dash 8s. Later with Airlift International as N273RD, it was wrecked at Miami by Hurricane Andrew on August 24, 1992.

This second prototype F-107A was used for weapons trials from 1956 until the program was cancelled in 1957. Transferred to the USAF Museum in Dayton, it was displayed outside for twenty-two years before being restored and placed inside as the museum grew.

First with Rocky Mountain Helicopters for five years, this LongRanger has been with Papillon Grand Canyon since 1986. It is current at the time of uploading.

Gulf Canada bought this British Aerospace HS-125-700 new in 1980. In 1992 the company had become Gulf Canada Resources in big energy dealings that nearly gave me a head ache trying to follow and the aircraft was sold. First registered N7UJ and N86D with off shore construction company McDermott Inc, it was later N497PT, N804CS and N212XX with several leasing companies.

Delivered to Skywest Airlines February 21, 1989, this Brasilia was sold to McDonnell Douglas Finance for lease back January 10, 1990. It was stored in Victorville, CA in 2003 before sold to Lagos, Nigeria based Capital Airlines as 5N-CCE. The airline shut down in 2010 and the aircraft was last noted in derelict condition at Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos.

The seventh of eight DC-10s "Luigi Pirandello" was delivered to Alitalia on February 18, 1975. The airliner was sold to leasing company Polaris Aviation in 1985 and leased to Eastern Airlines as N392EA. Transferred to Continental Air Lines in 1990, it was re-registered N41068 in 1996. Returned to the lessor in 2000, a lease to Avensa fell through, but he aircraft was placed with Santa Barbara Airlines in 2002 registered YV-1040C, christened "Ciudad Puerto de la Cruz". It was stored at Roswell, NM in 2005 and later scrapped.

Taken on strength December 3, 1957 as 20713, this Argus was re-serialed in May 1970 during the unification of the Canadian military. Pictured with 407 maritime patrol squadron, the aircraft was struck off strength October 23, 1980 and later scrapped.

Taxiing in on a gray day, this 737 was delivered to CP Air on December 1, 1968. It would be sold to PEOPLExpress as N433PE in December 1982. The first five 737s delivered to CP Air would go to PEOPLExpress between November 1982 and May 1983. This one would also move on to Continental Airlines when they merged PEOPLExpress in February 1987. Retired in 1990, the aircraft was broken up for parts.

Delivered to the United States Army in January 1957 as 55-3324, this Otter spent it's entire military career in Europe and was sold by tender with seven other Otters in December 1971. Pictured recently sold to Tyee Airlines as N9895B, the aircraft would fly in Alaska until sold to the owner of Buffalo Narrows Airways as C-GDOB in 1996. On the ferry flight to Canada May 9, 1996, the aircraft crashed in Telkwa Pass near Terrace, BC during poor weather.

Registered N2716R to Fairchild Aircraft In 1969, this F-27 was delivered first to IBM - International Business Machines on March 29, 1961. Withdrawn in 1970, the aircraft was sold to the Province of Quebec and registered CF-PQH on April 23, 1971. The registration format was changed to C-FPQH in 1975 and it was in the province's fleet until 2000. Sold to Trygon Ltd and registered 3C-QQA, the aircraft went to Southend before delivered to Aerolineas SOSA as HR-ASR in September 2001. Withdrawn circa 2006, it was last known stored at Coronel Hector Caraccioli Moncada airport at La Ceiba , Honduras.

First flying in 2018, this H130 was delivered to Reach Air Medical in May 2019 after interior fitment for air ambulance work.
