Horizon was a launch customer for the Dornier 328 with this being one twelve delivered between 1993 and 1995. All were returned to Dornier by 1997.

New type in Vancouver being demonstrated to local helicopter operators. It was later delivered to Quasar Helicopters, subsequently re-imported into the USA and finally written off in Afganistan (2010).

Being prepared for delivery to Brazil only days after arriving in Vancouver as C-GCPC from McDonnell Douglas.

The Doobie Liner visits Vancouver. Originally delivered to Eastern Airlines in 1952, it went on to fly with Mohawk, Ozark and Piedmont before becoming the Doobie Brothers Band touring aircraft.

Flying first with New York Airways from 1968 - 1977, this S-61 moved to Canada around 1979 for Okanagan. Later flying with Canadian Helicopters, Coulson Aircrane and Sunwest Helicopters, there was also a 2 year stint with the State of Utah (N614RM) from March 1994 - 1996 . After returning from the USA the helicopter received the HeliPro Shortsky conversion which shortened the fuselage by 50 inches and improved the lifting capability by 1,000 lbs. Sold to Carson Helicopters as N448JS in 2011.

Delivered new to Western Airlines in August 1957

Delivered to CP Air May 22, 1979, this 737 would remain in Canada through mergers with Pacific Western Airlines (Canadian Airlines) and Air Canada. Eventually placed with Air Canada's low fare Zip Air, the aircraft was sold to Pegasus Aviation in April 2003.

Delivered to Pacific Western on September 5, 1979 and stayed through the mergers with CP Air and Air Canada. Stored at Mojave in 2003 and re-registered as N290TR.

Delivered new to Canadian in 1990 and would be the first aircraft to wear Air Canada's new frosted leaf color scheme in 2004.

Previously N74AL with Warrior Petroleum, ALV has received a FastFin tail upgrade.

Starting out as a 1953 440 for United Airlines, this Convair was with Lake Central Airlines when it was converted to a 580 in December 1966. Merged with Allegheny Airlines in 1968, it was withdrawn and stored at Marana, AZ in the mid 70s until sold to Great Lakes in August 1976. Renamed Air Ontario in 1981, the Convair left Canada in 1988. Written off during a maintenance ground run when the main undercarriage collapsed and the propeller damaged the fuselage at Brownsville-South Padre Island International Airport, Tx January 18, 2018. It was registered XA-TRB with Air Tribe.

After rolled out in early 1969, several sales of this Twin Otter to the USA fell through and the aircraft was delivered to Aeronaves de Mayab as XA-BOL December 19, 1969. West Coast Air Services bought it in September 1979, but it never entered service. It was sold to Contact Airways in April 1980 and photographed just before the titles were painted out and the tail logo became a red circle. While flying on floats with Maldivian Air Taxi as 8Q-MAG, the aircraft was written off (with no injuries) when it struck the water after a photo shoot at the Halaveli Island Resort, Maldives June 2, 2009.

This Stratotanker was later upgraded to a KC-135R with CFM56 engines replacing the original Pratt & Whitney J-57 turbojets. The tanker is still in active Air Force inventory at the time of uploading.

This former Air Ontario Dash 8 would be sold in August 2004 to Type 72 Aviation. Since 2006, it's been with Aircraft Leasing Services working for the United Nations as 5Y-STN.

The seaplane base in Vancouver harbor was a beehive of floatplane activity.

The second of four TF-16Ns delivered to the US Navy (along with 22 single seat F16Ns) in 1987 - 1989. They were to replace older A-4s and F-5s used for adversary training, but accelerated fatigue due to the intense flying saw them withdrawn in 1994. This one was retired to AMARC Jan 11, 1995.

In 2000, Air Canada took over operations of Canadian Airlines and merged the airlines in 2001. To standardize the fleet, Canadian's DC-10s were disposed of quickly and the 737s went a couple of years later. C-GKCP is photographed in short term storage but would be re-activated for Air Canada's low fair Zip Air. When Zip was shut down, this 737 went to Canadian North.

The Empress of Watson Lake was delivered to CP Air November 1, 1982.

Built new for Panagra in 1952 as N6537C. Later with Pacific Western. Converted to tanker by Conair serving them from 1973 until retired in Sep 1981. Note the underbelly droptank.
