This Viscount was delivered to Lufthansa in April 1959 and flew with the airline for just over ten years. Lufthansa proved to be its only operator as the plane was retired and converted to a restaurant at Escherhausen, West Germany until 2001. It was then dismantled and trucked to Hannover-Ricklingen where it serves customers looking for Greek food.

Last flight in April 1989. Set on static display on top of shopping mall at High Chaparral Theme park in Sweden. Sold in auction 2019 to Estonian scrap dealer. Transported to Estonia for final processing.

During the late 1950s, the Federation of Rhodesia and Nyasaland started the construction of the Kariba Dam to build power stations to support the infrastructure of what today is Zambia and Zimbabwe. The dam was officially opened by Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother on 17 May 1960. The flag on the car is her personal standard.
