The former VH-OZU on the move to the White Gum Air Park near York, Western Australia. It joined sister ship (N737HL ex VH-OZX) which was moved from Perth airport several years ago. They had sat at Perth since OzJet ceased flying in 2009. Both aircraft were sold in the US but the US registrations were cancelled in 2011 The plan is for one of the 737s to converted in accommodation by 2022. Photo by: Roger Coyne

VH-IXP was damaged when it jumped the chocks while being hand-started in March 1974. For over 2 years it sat at Yemnu, its wings stored under a house. The instrument panel was hacked out with a machete and other parts went missing including the windows. When the decision was made to repair IXP, it was reassembled and temporary repairs carried out to allow it to be ferried to Goroka, there being no roads.. The ferry permit issued at the end of August 1976. It would be 1982 before the Cessna was restored to the register as P2-SER. Photo by: Ian Alexander
