Registered 2nd January 1963. DBR in a crash at Bladon Heath, Oxfordshire 19th October 1965 and cancelled 1st December 1965 as 'Destroyed'.

Delivered to Farnborough as AM101 5 Sept.1945. To RAE 30 April 1946, flew as AM101 to 12 May 1946 but as VP546 as from 15 May 1946. Flying from RNAS Ford, Lt.Cdr.Eric Brown used it for deck landings on HMS Triumph 28/29 May 1946, the only German aircraft to have landed on a RN aircraft-carrier. Allocated 7362M 26 July 1956 for possible use as ground instruction but found unsuitable. To Air Historical Branch collection 10 Oct.1956, to Coltishall ca.1963 until it went to the Historic Aircraft Collection at St.Athan June 1973. To Cosford 6 April 1989, where it has been displayed in recent years.

Support aircraft for the Patrouille de France display team that was present with six Fouga Magisters.

First flew 20 Sept.1960, delivered 10 Nov.1960. Parked in the static display at this event, in the colours of resident 226 OCU and carrying the badge of shadow 145 Squadron on the tail. Struck off charge 29 March 1974 and scrapped at Leconfield.

First flew 9 January 1950 and delivered 8 February 1950. At the time of this event it was serving with the Metropolitan Communications Squadron at Northolt. Struck off charge 14 January 1969 and subsequently destroyed in an arson attack at Sunderland 24 January 1997.

Alongside is Lightning T.5 XS419 (c/n.B95004), both in the static display in the colours of resident 226OCU with the badge of shadow 145 Squadron on the tail.

Displayed at the 1948 SBAC show at Farnborough, then to CAA as VP-YHZ 28 Oct.1948, and transferred to WAAC as VR-NAA May 1949. Arrived at Southend on delivery from Nigeria 31 March 1957 and restored as G-AIFO 8 April 1957 to East Anglian Flying Services and to Channel Airways 5 Nov.1962 upon corporate name change. Made its last flight 18 Oct.1964 and remained parked at Southend until scrapped there July 1966. Cancelled 13 Sept.1966 as 'Destroyed'.

Previously owned by a number of other civilian operators (during which it carried serial WZ838 at one time for trooping flights), it was acquired by its last operator, Air Links, on 24 October 1962. It was eventually the last Hermes 4 in service and made its final flight on 22 December 1964, when it positioned from Gatwick to Southend, where it was parked until scrapped in March 1965. It was cancelled 9 August 1965 as PWFU. Parked ahead of it in this photo are engineless Vikings G-AJFR & G-APOO, also awaiting scrapping.

First flew 23 July 1947. Delivered to Airwork Ltd 26 July 1947. Registered to Iraq Petroleum Transport 31 Oct.1952, back to Airwork 1 Oct.1954. To Tradair Ltd 28 Feb.1958, taken over by Channel Airways 20 Dec.1962. Here depicted engineless and awaiting scrapping, alongside sister-ship Viking 2 G-APOO (which had been withdrawn from use 18 August 1964).

First flew 27 August 1947, delivered to Airwork Ltd 1 Sept.1947. Flew trooping flights as WZ311 1952-1955. Delivered to Tradair Ltd. at Southend 3 Feb.1958, taken over by Channel Airways 20 Dec.1962. Withdrawn from use at Southend May 1964 and scrapped there Feb./March 1965. Cancelled 28 Oct.1965 as 'Destroyed'.

F/F 3 May 1958. Delivered to BEA 16 May 1958 as 'RMA John Napier'. To Cambrian Airways 20 January 1971. To British Airways (BA) 31 July 1973 as part of corporate merger of Cambrian A/W into BA. To British Air Ferries (BAF) 7 April 1981. Leased to Air Algérie, Jersey Air Ferries & Virgin Atlantic on various dates in the period May 1981 to May 1989. Corporate name change of BAF to British World Airlines 1 April 1993 and reregistered G-PFBT 22 March 1994. Stored at Southend 2 March 1996 until sold to Heli-Jet Aviation 23 May 1997. To Lanseria June 1997 and stored there until scrapped April 2006.

First flight 3 July 1958 as SU-AKN for Misrair (later United Arab A/L). Delivered to British Eagle 6 May 1965 and registered G-ATDR 11 May 1965. When British Eagle ceased operations 6 November 1968, it was WFU and stored at Speke until it was ferried to Blackbushe 20 November 1969. After all useful spares had been removed it was eventually broken up there May 1970.

Ex 43-17170 (to USAAF 29 Sept.1944), XT-T-103, XT-100, N8344C, N4270, N100J. Registered to Trans-World Leasing as G-ARXJ 29 May 1962 and leased to Dan-Air 18 January 1965 to 11 November 1965. Cancelled from the UK Register 21 June 1967 upon sale to Panama as HP-451.

Delivered to RCAF 22 December 1943 as FT380 and transferred to RAF 4 March 1944, still as FT380. Struck off charge by the RAF 1947, to RDanAF January 1947 as 31-324. With the Egeskov Veteranmuseum 1969-1985.

The original aircraft operated at Southend by the Rochford Hundred Flying Group, to whom it was delivered 7 August 1964. It was replaced by Auster J/5B Autocar G-AMFP in June 1969.

First flight at Belfast 3 Sep.1958. Entered service with Air Charter 1 Oct.1958, when it operated a trooping flight from Stansted to Christmas Island. Air Charter was eventually merged into British United Airways and nine days after this photo was taken, G-ANCE flew from Gatwick to Stansted on 18 Oct.1965 for ATL-99 freight door conversion by Aviation Traders, it being re-designated Britannia 307F. It was subsequently operated by Lloyd International and Monarch Airlnes until cancelled from the UK register on 21 May 1974, when it was acquired by Aer Turas as EI-BAA. It was scrapped May 1981.
