Photographer not known. The Aer Turas Britannias were heavily employed on the transport of live cattle from Ireland to Italy in the 1970s.

First flight at Belfast 3 Sep.1958. Entered service with Air Charter 1 Oct.1958, when it operated a trooping flight from Stansted to Christmas Island. Air Charter was eventually merged into British United Airways and nine days after this photo was taken, G-ANCE flew from Gatwick to Stansted on 18 Oct.1965 for ATL-99 freight door conversion by Aviation Traders, it being re-designated Britannia 307F. It was subsequently operated by Lloyd International and Monarch Airlnes until cancelled from the UK register on 21 May 1974, when it was acquired by Aer Turas as EI-BAA. It was scrapped May 1981.

Withdrawn from service and to be scrapped a few months after this photo was taken.

Seen while being stripped of parts to keep sister EI-BBH airworthy.

Britannias were frequent visitors to Sydney throughout the 1960s on both cargo and migrant charters.

Stored at Stansted since the demise of Lloyd in June 1972, this Brit went on to enjoy a new lease of life with Aer Turas as EI-BAA after brief periods with Monarch and IAS. Scrapped Dublin 1981

The traffic lights may not be on but it was certainly enough to stop me! This airframe faced a rather uncertain future as it went down the production line in 1958, being earmarked successively for BOAC, Capital and Northeast; ntu by all three. To Air Charter as G-ANCE, then BUA and Lloyd, joining Aer Turas in May 1974. Wfu Dublin 1979 and b/u 1981
