One of the 13 aircraft assembled on the eastern boundary at Southend for the nascent British Historic Aircraft Museum. Arrived from Biggin Hill in 1966. By April 1970 it had acquired a top turret and been painted in RAF colours as "HD368". Sadly, this museum came to nought but was resurrected as the Historic Aircraft Museum (Southend) in 1972 with N9089Z passing into its care.

Wartine B-25 44-28932 was retired by the US Air Force in 1958. Becoming fire bomber N3476G in Alaska December 1959, the aircraft was sold to the Collings Foundation in 1985. As a warbird, it first flew as 44-28932 "Hoosier Honey" and was re-painted as "Tondelayo" in 2002. This is RCAF B-25J 5273 (carried on the left fin), fitted with the right fin of KL144. This Mitchell was obtained from the USAF in 1953 (ex 44-30791) and flew for the Canadians until it was struck off charge on 7 October 1960. The aircraft became a spares source and ended its days on a farm near Lamont, Alberta. The remains were rediscovered and transported to the Alberta Aviation Museum in April 2002. Restoration work started in 2004, part of which was the adding of that right tail fin of RCAF Mitchell Mk.II KL144 (c/n 100-23345).
