Swissair introduced wide body jetliners with the Boeing 747 in 1971 and the Douglas DC-10 in 1972. This DC-10 was delivered February 6, 1972 and was one among several sold to Northwest Airlines. With Northwest May 1991 - October 2005 after which it was stored at Marana, AZ and later broken up.

The US Army operated this Beaver as 54-1701 from December 1955 to July 1979 that included time in Vietnam. First registered N64393 to South East Alaksa Airlines, the bushplane went on to operate with numerous airlines in Alaska. It's pictured stored on the Tyee Spit at Campbell River, BC. Last information I have is the registration was cancelled on October 31, 2020.

Off the production line, but yet to fly (first flight August 15, 2015), LV-FYK was delivered on August 26th.

Delivered to the Royal Canadian Air Force as a Beech Expeditor Mk.I (1418) in December 1944 via the USAAF. One of 80 Expeditors upgraded by the RCAF to Mk 3Ts in 1952, it was struck off strength in May 1965, becoming CF-KAK in 1966. Operated by Theriault Air Services 1970 - 76, C-FKAK is current with Pacific Seaplanes since 2017 at the time of uploading.

Initially for French distributor Rousseau Aviation, this Islander instead went to Jonas Aircraft in New York. Sold to Harbor Airlines as N87JA in March 1974, it was re-registered N69HA by November 1974. The aircraft was with Harbor Airlines until September 1982. Last with Abaco Air registered C6-BFQ from October 1995, the aircraft was stored at Leonard Thompson Airport, Marsh Harbour, Abaco Islands, Bahamas in 1997.

One of sixty-seven DC-10s (including a dozen DC-10-30s) flown by American Airlines. This Luxuryliner was delivered July 14, 1972 and withdrawn in February 1994. Sold to FedEx in June 1997 for parts, the remains were sold in May 2002 and broken up the next month at Phoenix Goodyear Airport.

Ordered by Ansett Airlines, but not taken up, Air Canada took delivery of this A320 February 16, 1990. The aircraft performed it last revenue flight September 6, 2019 and was flown to Marana, AZ the next day for storage.

This GI ended up in Venezuela as YV2054. It was noted stored at Maracaibo, Venezuela (La Chinita International Airport) as recently as January 2020.

The HU-1A Iroquois was the initial production version of this iconic transport helicopter for the US Army. It already had the more commonly used "Huey" moniker before the designation was changed to UH-1 in 1962. This early aircraft is possibly marked for preservation some day.

A modern barnstormer.

Delivered January 31, 1980, this 737 was still new when photographed. Nordair elected to equip all of their 737s with the engine blow away jets that were developed for the 737 Combie. This aircraft would fly in Central and South America from 1991 - 2004. Unfortunately, it crashed in Afghanistan on March 8, 2005 when it apparently descended early for a non-precision approach to Kabul and hit a mountain.

This Beaver was delivered to distributor Hawker De Havilland Australia in March 1964. Registered VH-IDM in July for Aerial Agriculture Pty, it did agricultural work for most of the next 34 years. Coming back to Canada in C-GEDE in March 1999, the floatplane has been owned by Nigaani Air president Arthur Esquaga since June 1999 and periodically, like here, leased to Nigaani Air. It has a small Nigaani Air logo on the door.

This Charleston SC built 787 was delivered to Air Canada January 30, 2015.

As interest in the Deutsche de La Muerthe Cup Race revived in the 1930s, race car designer Ettore Bugatti began a design to compete in the speed competition. The Bugatti 100P was under construction when WWII intervened. Unfinished, the aircraft was moved from his Paris factory in 1940 as Germans advanced and stored in the countryside. In 1970 a collector in the USA bought the aircraft for the two Bugatti engines in the racer and sold the airframe for restoration. Donated to the US Air Force Museum in 1979, it was kept stored until donated to the EAA Museum in 1996 and a restoration completed.

Painted as wartime Harvard II AJ958 used by No. 39 Service Flying Training School at Swift Current, Saskatchewan, this Harvard 4 was originally with the Royal Canadian Air Force as 20415 .
