Became N102EX with Braniff on 1st June 1982, and re-registered as EI-BWJ on 30th August 1988. Withdrawn from use at Orlando, Florida by 1991 and scrapped after being stripped for spares.

Delivered to Hunting Clan as G-APTD in 1959. Merged into British United Airways in 1960. Photo possibly taken prior to a short term lease to Alia Royal Jordanian Airlines as JY-ADC in 1967 as the markings are partly removed. Returned to British United Airways then went to Arkia as 4X-AVD in 1970. Withdrawn from use at East Midlands in 1979 and used for parts. Remains scrapped in 1983.

It was the first Westland-Sikorsky S-51 and registered in 1948 as G-AKTW. In 1953 it became the first Westland Dragonfly 1A for the RAF as XD649. After evaluation it was restored to civil and became the type/version as above. In 1958 the registration was changed to G-APPR with Bristow Helicopters and here on lease or for demo purposes with BUA. In 1962 it was exported as 5N-ABV and reportedly destroyed during the Biafra War.

In an earlier British United livery which did not feature BUA.

First flight at Belfast 3 Sep.1958. Entered service with Air Charter 1 Oct.1958, when it operated a trooping flight from Stansted to Christmas Island. Air Charter was eventually merged into British United Airways and nine days after this photo was taken, G-ANCE flew from Gatwick to Stansted on 18 Oct.1965 for ATL-99 freight door conversion by Aviation Traders, it being re-designated Britannia 307F. It was subsequently operated by Lloyd International and Monarch Airlnes until cancelled from the UK register on 21 May 1974, when it was acquired by Aer Turas as EI-BAA. It was scrapped May 1981.

Sold in 1969 to Arkia Israel for parts as 4X-AVB. With DC-6A OO-ABE (BIAS) and BAC One Eleven 320AZ G-AVBW (Laker).

Ex F-OAIF, SE-BAU, 42-68784. Registration cancelled on 20 July 1977 on sale to Ethiopia as ET-AGR with RRC Air Services. Destroyed during an air raid on Jigiga Airport just 3 weeks later on 12 August 1977.

Registration cancelled on 24 March 1982 on sale to the USA as N104EX with Braniff Airways, and re-registered EI-BWK in 1988. To Southend on 28 March 1990 and became G-DBAF on 17 July 1990 with British Air Ferries. Registration cancelled on 5 March 1996 on sale to Liberia as EL-ALD, then became YA-GAG 9 months later. It was finally operated by the Government of Rwanda as 9XR-RA from February 1998, and was reported as stored at Lanseria in 2000.

Operated by Air UK from January 1980 and preserved at Duxford from 1985. Then moved to Morayvia Museum, Scotland in February 2022.

Ex JY-ADB, G-APND. Registration cancelled on 7 November 1973 when it was bought by BAC and refurbished for sale to Arkia as 4X-AVF, flying for a short while in class 'B' marks as G-16-20 before delivery on 21 December 1973. It was broken up at Tucson by 1993.

F/F 9 March 1959 and delivered on 17 March 1959 to Transair, which airline was merged into BUA 1 July 1960. Leased to Alia-Royal Jordanian Airlines as JY-ADA 16 Oct.1966. Following a landing accident at Kuwait 18 Nov.1966 it was registered back to BUA and ferried back to Gatwick 6 Dec.1966. Sold to British Midland Airways 1 April 1967 and to Arkia as 4X-AVE Sept.1972. To Go Transportation May 1982 and ferried to Tucson, Arizona for storage and parts recovery. The remains were donated to Pima Community College Aviation School circa Jan.1992 for instructional use, still in Arkia livery.
