This AB-204 is 'preserved' at this military training area in Artegna, a town north of Udine.

While birdwatching around the Evretou Dam lake, I was pleasantly surprised to see two Cyprus AF Gazelles perform a high speed low level pass through the valley and over the lake. They were operated by 450 ME/P based an nearby Paphos AB.

Peserved in a garden in this town to the west of Udine.

Test reg N4204M before delivery to the Royal Jordanian Air Force as 347 in 1982. Still operational in 2024.

Later converted to as SH-14D. Used for parts and stored at Gilze Rijen in 2010. Still there in 2013. Scrapped.

The BT-12 production line inside the Fleetwings plant showing ships #9 thru #14 of a 24 ship order with serials 42-3684 to 3707 allocated. Serials 42-3708 thru 3883, which would have brought the order up to 200, were cancelled when the military decided they preferred the Vultee BT-13. Construction involved the extensive use of stainless steel, including for skin panels. The fuselage structure was made from carbon steel tube with stainless skin panels attached using "Shake-proof Fasteners" (probably what is known as quarter-turn fasteners today).
