Written off on 2 September 1995 when crashed into Lake Ontario, Canada during an air display. Unfortunately all seven crew members lost their lives.

One of five Boeing 747-306 that have first been operating with an american tailnumber. From 13 September 1984 untill 6 Februari 1991 when it became PH-BUV.

In April 1973 three Boeing 720s made their way to Rhodesia, circumventing the UN sanctions against the country. VP-YNL was one of these aircraft seen here at Salisbury a few months after arriving with sisterships VP-YNM and VP-YNN after Air Rhodesia clandestinely acquired three of Calair's five 720s. It started its service life with Eastern Air Lines in August 1961. In December 1970 it joined the fleet of short-lived German charter airline Calair. Photographer unknown

The aircraft lost its wings and crashed on August 30, 2005 in the town of Saint-Yan in Saône et Loire during an event of the France aerobatic championships. The pilot, Captain Delorme, was killed. This accident led to the end of the use of the Cap 232 by the French Air Force.

In order to keep the Austrian Air Force's three C-130Ks in service for longer, a fourth Hercules was purchased from the Royal Air Force in 2015 to be used for spare parts. The aircraft, with the serial number 382-4261, was built in 1967 and entered service with the RAF on 8 March 1968 as XV295. After 45 years of service, the Hercules was taken out of active service on 29 October 2013 and stored at Saint Athan. On 10 December 2015, it was flown to Linz-Hörsching. The next day, the tail was removed and the aircraft was pushed into the hangar. Since then, it has been dismantled piece by piece.
