Built at Stapleford in 1957 and test flown as G-43-1. Left Croydon on delivery flight to Australia in company with G-APIA on 27th October 1957, arriving on the 11th November. Registered as VH-FBZ in February 1958. Crashed in March 1959 and rebuilt by Kingsford Smith Aviation with a Cheetah 10 radial engine and re-designated as an EP-9C. Crashed again in July 1962 while flying for Airfarm Associates, repaired and re-registered as VH-DCM before crashing again in April 1963. Struck off register 9th April 1963.

This Night fighter version of the Meteor was attached to the Empire Test Pilots School at Farnborough and was in their compound at the edge of the Public Area. Interesting and ancient part canvas hangar. Kodak Brownie 127 camera

Built in March 1939 for Railway Air Services. Post WW2 served BEA as a member of its "Islander" class and still wears that basic scheme but now in dark blue. Operated by Airviews from May 1956 until late 1958.
