Built in 1939 and registered as NC36683 then N36683 in 1949 and G-BIHW in 1980. Damaged beyond repair in a crash at Shoreham in 1988. Never served with the US military so the markings are fake.

This European-based 737 had seen previous service with PSA, Pacific Western, and Bahamasair.

This photo was taken when the aircraft was on approach to the seldom used S-W/N-E runway (now closed) and shows the mud on the belly picked up from dirt airstrips. No cream puffs in this business - they were just delivery trucks with wings.

Together with HKP-3B (based on the Agusta Bell 204) 03302/42 and 03313/53 and HKP-4A 04454/94. Also present on the apron (but not visible in this photo) are H-209 & H-213 (Hughes 369D, callsign DAF3470), T-410 & T-418 (T-17, callsign DAF 3472), HKP-6B (based on the Bell 206) 06050/50 and HKP-9 (based on the Bolkow 105) (V73)/73. Ground instruction airframe with the Phantom overhaul facilities at Jever. Hence the 'Werft F-4F Phantom' badge on the forward fuselage. This aircraft was sold to Baarlo (NL) and than moved to Zruc (Cz)
