This Nord was only with Golden Gate for a matter of days, and had lost the titles by the month after photo. She was the first N.262 in the US, joining Lake Central from new in 8.65 as N26201; after Allegheny merger sold to BC (PW) Airlines as CF-BCU in 3.70. Reverting to the US reg in 2.72 with Ransome, she went to Swift Aire as N411SA in 10.79, back to Ransome 6.82 and Pocono 1.86 (both Allegheny Commuter). Pocono suspended ops in 1.90 and the Nord went into store at Wilkes-Barre, PA; no longer extant

New with the Irish Air Corps in 7.56 and still carrying serial 186, this Vampire was sold in the US and registered there in 11.79. Seen in this view with Goblin jet removed, it had private owners in CA and UT, spending long periods stored in AZ

VH-MEI was sold in the US as N133FJ in April 1991.

Delivered to the US Army January 7, 1956, this Beaver hit the civilian market in 1976 going to the Civil Air Patrol. CAP would later replace the two port hole windows with 6 enlarged cabin windows. N5342G suffered major damage February 20, 2009 crashing into trees on take-off just outside of Kenai AK. In 2012 the wreck was tendered for sale with the stipulation the aircraft remains be scrapped.

Unit: 10 Sqn. XV109 was scrapped in 2010. Its cockpit has been preserved.

VH-KHG was registered in August 1980.

Under repair after a take-off accident April 3, 1981 which damaged the belly. This Norseman was first delivered to the USAAF October 13, 1943 as 43-5237. Sent to the Reconstruction Finance Corporation on November 30, 1945 for disposal, it became N55555 flying many years in Alaska. After refurbishment (again) in 1992 it was donated to the Alaskaland Pioneer Air Museum, Fairbanks, Alaska where it remains on display.

VH-EXA was reregistered VH-YEA in July 1996.

RAF and RCAF veteran spent it's civil career in westertn Canada before being exported to the USA in 1985. Converted to a Basler BT-67 in 2005.

Air Canada's FIN 504 getting fueled up for departure on a lease to Air Lanka. It came back in December 1981 and returned to the line as C-FTND. The aircraft also had a later lease to Gulf Air. It was stored at Marana, AZ for the last time in 1999 and broken up by April 2000.

VH-EMS was registered from May 1977 to July 1999 when it became VH-LNA.

VH-ELV was registered from April 1970 until withdrawn from use at Dubbo, New South Wales, in September 2015.

VH-EDW was registered in December 1970.

VH-CDZ was an KNILM aircraft that came to Australia in World War II and impressed by the USAAF. After the war it was sold to Australian National Airways as VH-ADZ. By 1948 it was owned by Marshall Airways registered as VH-CDZ and used for joy flights from Bankstown airport. VH-CDZ was grounded after a minor accident in 1957. For several years it was stored at Bankstown . In 1965 it towed to Camden airport and later to an off-airport site. Sold in 1972, it returned to Bankstown for intended export to the US but this was blocked. A subsequent attempt in 1983 to restore CDZ to airworthy in Australia was abandoned after it suffered structural damage.

VH-BYB was lost on the night of May 15, 1984 when it crashed into a house at Goulburn, New South Wales, killing all three on the aircraft and one in the house..

Old slide of somewhat disappointing quality, but interesting nevertheless. CP Air was a very frequent visitor at Amsterdam for many years. In 1981 they still operated their DC-8s into Schiphol, but they would soon change that to their similarly coloured DC-10s. CF-CPP "Empress of Alberta" is seen here in their striking orange colour scheme, shortly after touchdown on runway 19R.

Registration changed to VH-YJZ in 2002.
