K25 slide scan. Built 1943. Modified 1964 for Cummins Diesel with many refinements: R1830-75 engines, removal of cargo door, squared off wingtips, fully enclosed mainwheel doors, retractable tailwheel, speed cowlings, large spinners, radar nose, wingroot fairings, Viemaster windows and modified hydraulics. In later years it was reconverted to freighter with cargo door installed again. After 14 static years on a farm in Oregon it was ferried to Oshkosh in October 2018 for BT-67 conversion. From 1985 it was operated by Mohican Air Service and is seen here performing an engine run.

K25 slide scan. Built 1943 as SNB-2 for US Navy. Rebuilt as Hamilton Turboliner TriGear 1970. Saber Aviation 1983, Mohican Air Service 1990, crashed 15 December 1992 after take off from Cleveland, OH due to a jammed elevator. Seen at Mohican's Wakeman base still lettered for Saber Aviation.

K25 slide scan. Last remnant of the once impressive Ortner Air Service propliner fleet consisting of Beech 18, C-46, DC-3 and DC-7, operating out of the private Wakeman Airfield in rural Ohio. Built 1946, taken into Ortner stock in 1969, withdrawn 1976, extant until around 2007.

Delivered to the USAAF as c-47A-35-DL, 42-23861, this aircraft flew with Northern Airways, All American Airways, and Allegheny prior to Ortner. It was destroyed on September 11, 1975 when it crashed during a ferry flight.

This Corsair, BuNo 133714 is among the last built, and served with the French Navy from 1952-64, and saw action in several conflicts.

Delivered to AA as N390AA 5/56. Cvt to (F) 9/59 and used as freighter by AA until sold to Zantop 6/66.
