Classic Convairliner delivered to SAS as SE-CCM July 20, 1956 and transferred to Linjeflyg January 1963. It was bought by Great Lakes in June 1974 along with three other ex-Linjeflyg and two ex-Swissair Convairs to start scheduled service between Sarnia and Ottawa with stops in London and Toronto. This one was exported to the USA in 1977 as N25DR when Great Lakes upgraded the fleet to 580s from Allegheny Airlines.

This aircraft was ex Court line but carries no titles. I have been unable to find a log with the aircraft in it but Court Line went into bankruptcy on 15th August, 1974. The fact that it carries no titles means that it was after that date, but before it was flown to Palmdale where it was stored for a short time before being sold to Cathay Pacific as VR-HHV
