This nose section was displayed at Waddington with the Code of K which was carried by XS737 for all of its service. XS737 became N19EK which is still stored at Kemble which means that the identity of this one is a mystery. It is possible that this is G-AVAI
Camouflaged Vampire FB.5 of 613 (City of Manchester) Squadron landing at its Ringway base in 1955. It had been to summer training camp at Gibraltar and is returning via Marignane - hence the underwing extra fuel tanks.
