Junkers JU52s VH-GSS and -GSW of Gibbes Sepik Airways date this photo from 1960 when they were withdrawn from use at Madang. They were broken in 1961 and the metal shipped to Adelaide for melting down. The shipment contained Japanese WW2 wrecks. Madang was occupied by Japan during the war.
