VH-INK makes an appearance at Sydney during daylight. The higher cabin compared with TAA's Fokker F27s made Carvairs the first choice for flying champion racehorses about the country. Normally the Carvairs were engaged in night cargo, particularly to Tasmania.
1946-built as G-AHJC. After service on the Berlin Airlift it was sold to ANA in September 1949 and named "Kiopana". Withdrawn in 1958 and broken up at Essendon in September 1961. Obtained from ANA 50 years ago.
