A very recent arrival at the Aviodrome museum, having been moved here from the MBO College Airport in Hoofddorp on 8 July 2007.

Former US Navy US-2C bu 133355 is pictured while with South Seattle Community College. It was sold to Advanced Aviation Services September 15, 1999 for cloud seeding operations with the Desert Research Institute in Nevada. The aircraft had an engine failure April 17, 2000 taking off from Reno, NV and crashed.

A very nice Grumman Tracker, taken on charge by the Royal Netherlands Navy on 18 Aug 1960 as an S-2A. Converted to S-2N, then US-2N and withdrawn from use on 1 Oct 1975. Officially struck off charge on 7 Jul 1976 and transferred to the Militaire Luchtvaart Museum.

The carrier Karel Doorman was in port for maintenance and its S-2A Trackers from VSQ 4 were flying from Hato for a couple of weeks. 169, 166, and 146 are seen here. Scrapped 1982

This Tracker, which still carries its former US Navy serial 136681 under the tail plane, was returned to the US Navy in 1977 and stored at Atsugi Air Base, Japan. It was one of eleven ex-Japanese Trackers sold to Native Alaskan Reclamation and Pest Control (Lester Risley) on 27 January 1978, to be converted to airtankers. Registration N217AK was reserved for this aircraft, but in the end Mr. Risley was unable to complete the deal and none of the aircraft ever left Japan. Instead, all eleven were repossessed by the US Navy on 23 January 1979 and ten were subsequently broken up for scrap. The eleventh Tracker (ex 4108) went to South Korea for display at the War Memorial of Korea in Seoul.
